Accessibility
The guides should be readable without a steady hand or a wide screen.

We build evalesaree toward the practices in WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a design target, not a certification. We have not commissioned a formal audit, and we do not claim the site is free of barriers.
Structure
Pages use one H1, then H2 and H3 in order. Landmarks mark the header, the main content, and the footer. A skip link is the first control.
Keyboard
The menu, the state and method lists, the index filters, and the cookie choices work from the keyboard. Focus is visible. Escape closes the mobile menu.
Text
Body type is set for reading, not for decoration. Link text names the page it opens. We do not convey a rule by color alone.
Images
Photographs have alt text that says what is in the frame and, where it matters, what the frame is not. The logo beside the wordmark is marked decorative.
Motion
A short fade runs when a page loads. If your system asks for reduced motion, that fade and the hover transitions are turned off.
Zoom
Layouts use flexible columns. Tables sit in a region that scrolls sideways so the rest of the page does not.
Report a barrier
Email [email protected] with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you used. You can also call +1 631 259 9006 on business days, Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 Eastern Time.
We read those notes in the order they arrive. We cannot promise a particular turnaround. We can promise the note reaches the publication, not a contractor we have not named.
Known limits
Some guides are long. A sticky list of sections helps on a wide screen and stacks above the text on a narrow one. We have not added a site-wide search box, so the index is the way to scan titles.
The cookie banner is a dialog that does not block the article. If it covers a control on a very short screen, dismiss it or tab past it. Cookie settings in the footer reopen it later.
Third-party agency sites that we link to have their own access barriers. We cannot repair those. If a citation link itself is broken, that is ours to fix.
The editorial policy explains the writing. The contact page lists every mailbox.
