What evalesaree receives, and what it does not ask for.

What we receive

If you email [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected], we receive the address you wrote from, the message, and any attachment you chose to include. If you call, the phone company connects the call. We do not ask you to create an account, and there is no order form.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, copies of Forms W-2, or payroll registers. We do not need them to answer a question about a guide, and we would rather not hold them.

Like most sites, the host that serves these pages may keep connection logs: an IP address, the date and time, the address of the page, and the browser type. We use those logs to keep the site operating and to understand a failure when one is reported. We do not add an analytics product on top of them. No analytics tag and no advertising tag is loaded by this site today.

How we use it

Email and calls are used to reply, to correct a guide, and to fix a problem you reported. Logs are used to operate the site. The cookie and local storage described below are used only to remember the storage choice you made in the banner.

We do not use your message to build a marketing list. There is no newsletter on this site.

Storage and cookies

If you use the storage banner, we save the choice in the first-party cookie evalesaree_consent and in local storage under the same name. The cookie can last up to six months. The categories are described in the cookie policy. You can open the banner again from Cookie settings in the footer.

The consent tool is built so that, if an analytics or advertising tag is added later, it can read this choice through Google Consent Mode defaults that start at denied. Adding a tag would require a change to this policy before the tag runs. Until then, accepting optional storage does not cause a third-party tag to load, because there is no tag to load.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. A hosting provider processes connection data so the site can be served. An email provider stores the mail you send us. They act for that purpose. We may disclose information if the law requires it, for example a valid legal demand, or if it is needed to protect the publication against abuse of the site.

Sales of personal information

evalesaree does not sell personal information, and it does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you are a California resident, that is our statement for the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended. We also do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.”

Your requests

You may ask what correspondence we still have from you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do that for the mailbox we control, except where we need to keep a message to record a correction you asked for, to comply with law, or to document abuse. Host logs rotate on the host’s schedule. We cannot always pull a single visit out of a log that has already expired.

We do not discriminate against you for making a request. There is no account to downgrade, and there is no paid tier.

Children

The guides are written for people who run payroll. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
